On June 6, Ukraine executed a substantial drone operation aimed at Russian naval installations, fuel storage sites, and industrial structures across various areas. Russian authorities indicated that 88 drones were thwarted over the Leningrad region adjacent to St. Petersburg, where impacts occurred near the Kronstadt Marine Plant and a naval munitions storage in Lebyazhye. Additional reports of fires emerged at the Poltavskaya oil storage in Krasnodar and the Antipinsky Oil Refinery in Tyumen, which has an annual processing capability of over 9 million tons of crude oil. These assaults underline Ukraine's increasing capacity to target critical infrastructure within the heart of Russian territory.
