GOOD SAMARITAN AND COP RESCUE TURTLE FROM BUSY FLORIDA INTERSECTION

Watch this remarkable clip where a good Samaritan and a police officer work together to rescue a large softshell turtle attempting to cross a busy Florida intersection surrounded by moving traffic.
Crystal Ball from Panama City Beach, Florida, USA, recorded the dramatic scene from her vehicle as the turtle made its way across the roadway at what she described as "max turtle speed" while cars carefully maneuvered around it.
The footage shows a concerned motorist stopping his truck and rushing into the intersection to help the turtle.
Moments later, a nearby police officer pulls into the roadway and temporarily stops traffic, allowing the rescuer to safely carry the turtle out of danger.
Thanks to the quick actions of both the good Samaritan and the officer, the turtle was successfully removed from the busy road and the rescue ended without incident.
