Students dive into the world of podcasting and modern media with GDB Press Forward's innovative school-work project!
For nearly five months, 11 schools and over 200 students honed their multimedia skills, producing a pilot podcast episode on the Winter Olympics. This program, a collaboration between Giornale di Brescia and Vivi Energia, bridged the gap between education and the professional world.
Through online webinars and hands-on in-class sessions, students learned podcasting techniques and created compelling audio content. This initiative aimed to foster communication between generations, providing a platform for young voices to express their interests and perspectives.
Featuring diverse topics like sustainability, technology, and the human side of sports, the students' podcasts showcased a unique, contemporary approach. They explored themes beyond performance, delving into emotions, friendship, and the challenges of today.
This project goes beyond a typical school exercise, equipping students with valuable life skills. They developed collaboration, teamwork, responsibility, and self-confidence, essential for their future careers.
