PhilHealth chief eyes better public perception through improved services
PhilHealth President Dr. Edwin Mercado told The Manila Times during an ambush interview after the Universal Health Care forum at the Healthway Cancer Care Hospital in Taguig City on Thursday, June 11, that changing the stigma surrounding the agency’s funds will depend on Filipinos experiencing the actual benefits of its programs, especially at the grassroots level.
