पश्चिम बंगाल की राजनीति में TMC को एक और बड़ा झटका लगा है। राज्यसभा सांसद Prakash Chik Baraik ने अपने पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया है। इस्तीफे के बाद उन्होंने कहा कि बंगाल की जनता ने BJP को mandate दिया है और लोकतंत्र में जनता ही “गण देवता” है। Baraik ने ममता बनर्जी से नाराजगी से इनकार किया, लेकिन BJP में जाने के सवाल पर कहा- “समय का इंतजार कीजिए।” रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, यह TMC के लिए एक सप्ताह के भीतर तीसरा बड़ा राज्यसभा झटका है।
TMC has suffered another major setback in West Bengal politics as Rajya Sabha MP Prakash Chik Baraik resigned from his post. After resigning, Baraik said the mandate in Bengal was in favour of the BJP and that the public is supreme in a democracy. He denied any anger against Mamata Banerjee, but kept suspense alive over joining the BJP by saying, “Wait for the right time.” His resignation marks another sign of turbulence within TMC.
