Levente Csapo captured the dramatic incident at Nagyerdei Stadion in Debrecen, Hungary.
The video shows the camera system suspended above the pitch as play continues below.
Without warning, smoke begins pouring from the Spidercam before flames become visible high above the field.
Moments later, the burning camera rig drops from its cable system and crashes to the ground inside the stadium.
Spectators reacted in shock. Despite the alarming incident, the match eventually continues after the fallen equipment is dealt with.
This extraordinary footage of rare technical failure unfolding in front of thousands of fans was shared on Tiktok.
