Soldiers from the Russian “North” unit are receiving extreme motorcycle riding training in the Kursk region, according to information released by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The activities are carried out with soldiers wearing full combat gear and under different weather conditions. According to the ministry, the objective is to increase the troops’ adaptability in high-risk situations and improve their ability to react quickly to threats along the line of contact.

The training includes maneuvers on difficult terrain and simulations focused on agile movement in operational areas. The aim is to prepare combatants to carry out tasks more efficiently in scenarios where mobility can be decisive.

The classes are led by a trainer linked to the regional motorcycle team, who instructs the soldiers in control, balance, and riding techniques under pressure. The initiative reflects the growing use of motorcycles in reconnaissance operations, rapid movement, and support in combat zones.
