We Mexican rock fans remember this hard-to-find album, a classic of Latin American progressive rock almost unknown in these parts. Great guitar riffs, Jethro Tull-esque flute (of course, our friend Jorge Reyes is at the helm of this instrument, perhaps marking the first and tentative foray of pre-Hispanic music onto a rock album), some baroque lines, and Genesis-like melodies provide the framework for a unique symphonic sound. Known as the first recording of pure symphonic progressive rock made in Mexico, it represents a historic moment in Mexican progressive rock and a model for many of the bands that emerged later in that country.
