फ्रांस के एवियन में आयोजित G7 समिट में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने वैश्विक मंच से दुनिया को एक बड़ा संदेश दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि दुनिया में संसाधनों की नहीं, बल्कि भरोसे की कमी है। पीएम मोदी ने होर्मुज स्ट्रेट में भारतीय नाविकों की सुरक्षा का मुद्दा मजबूती से उठाते हुए कहा कि समुद्री व्यापार से जुड़े लोगों की सुरक्षा पूरी दुनिया की साझा जिम्मेदारी है। उन्होंने चेतावनी दी कि यदि इस महत्वपूर्ण जलमार्ग में व्यापार प्रभावित होता है तो वैश्विक अर्थव्यवस्था पर गंभीर असर पड़ेगा।
समिट के दौरान अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप और पीएम मोदी की गर्मजोशी भरी मुलाकात भी चर्चा का केंद्र रही। दोनों नेताओं के बीच महत्वपूर्ण मुद्दों पर बातचीत हुई, जबकि द्विपक्षीय बैठक में व्यापार, निवेश और रणनीतिक साझेदारी पर चर्चा होने की उम्मीद है। इसके अलावा पीएम मोदी ने यूएई, केन्या, मिस्र, जापान और दक्षिण कोरिया के नेताओं से भी मुलाकात कर भारत के वैश्विक संबंधों को नई मजबूती दी।
