Taiwanese media organizations earned multiple honors at the 2026 SOPA Awards for Editorial Excellence, one of the Asia-Pacific region's most prestigious journalism competitions.
Outlets including The Reporter, Initium Media, CommonWealth Magazine, Mirror Media and TaiwanPlus were recognized across categories ranging from investigative reporting and feature writing to video journalism.
TaiwanPlus' documentary series Finding Formosa received an Award for Excellence in Video Reporting, marking the platform's first SOPA Award.
