A dramatic rescue effort was captured on video as compassionate locals rushed to help a group of stray dogs believed to have been poisoned in Turkey.
The footage, shared by Yonj Ali, shows rescuers working urgently to aid dogs that appeared to be in distress.
In the video, several people gather around one of the animals, carefully feeding it large amounts of yoghurt, a remedy commonly used by some locals in an attempt to help dogs that may have ingested harmful substances.
The rescuers can be seen comforting the animal while monitoring its condition as they work against the clock.
Moments later, they move to another dog displaying similar symptoms and repeat the process, determined to give the strays every possible chance of recovery.
Later a clip by Yoni shows the dogs appearing far more alert and active.
