Ukraine's allies from the West have committed approximately $4 billion in fresh military assistance after the Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting in Belgium on June 18. Nearly $1 billion will be allocated for Patriot missile interceptors via NATO's PURL initiative, with major contributions from Germany, Norway, the Netherlands, and Sweden. The Netherlands has individually promised about 700 cruise missiles. Officials have indicated that packages for long-range artillery and drones have also been approved as Russia intensifies its missile and drone attacks on Ukrainian cities. Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov mentioned that the total amount could increase as additional nations confirm their support in the upcoming days.
