Following the recent Ramstein-format conference in Belgium, Ukraine has announced it has obtained over $2.5 billion in additional defense assistance. President Volodymyr Zelensky highlighted that this funding includes more than $1 billion allocated for the PURL initiative, upwards of $500 million dedicated to long-range ammunition through the Czech program, and approximately $1 billion for the production of drones and missiles in Ukraine. This support is intended to enhance air defense capabilities, bolster battlefield effectiveness, and increase local weapon manufacturing as Russia intensifies its attacks. More shipments are anticipated within the month.
