Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced financial assistance of INR 5 lakh each for the families of those killed in the incident and INR 50,000 each for the injured. Earlier in the day, Adityanath cut short his visit to Aligarh and returned to Lucknow after being informed about the tragedy.
