Jesus heals in stages in one of the most surprising moments in the Gospels.
A blind man is brought to Jesus in Bethsaida. Jesus takes him by the hand, leads him away from the crowd, touches his eyes, and asks what he sees. The man does not pretend. He tells the truth. He can see, but not clearly. People look like trees walking around.
Then Jesus touches him again.
That moment is powerful because it speaks to everyone who is somewhere between broken and restored. You are not where you were, but you are not fully clear yet. You have made progress, but you still struggle. You believe, but you still need strength. You are healing, but some parts of life still feel confusing.
