During the night of June 21, 2026, Ukrainian military units launched attacks on energy, logistics, and air defense installations on both sides of the Crimean Bridge, as confirmed by President Zelensky. The TES-Terminal-1 oil facility in Kerch, a crucial hub for fuel storage and transfer for Russian military operations in Crimea, was struck and ignited. On the opposite side of the bridge, the maritime oil logistics facilities at Kavkaz port located on Chushka Spit in Krasnodar Krai also faced assaults, resulting in a significant blaze. Additionally, four radar units linked to S-400 air defense systems and two Pantsir systems were destroyed. This operation was executed by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), Unmanned Systems Forces (USF), Defence Intelligence, and Special Operations Forces, impacting targets around 300 kilometers from the front lines. Zelensky remarked, 'Russia only comprehends strength, and our long-range capabilities are indeed advancing the cause of peace.' Following these events, Sergei Aksyonov, the head of the Russian-installed government in Crimea, declared a complete ban on civilian fuel sales starting at 9am on June 21, allowing only state services and security forces to receive fuel. Additionally, Ukraine targeted the road bridge over the Henichesk Strait overnight on June 21-22, striking another vital logistics route. Ukrainian drones also attacked a power facility in occupied Crimea during the night of June 22.
