The arrest of activist Alyssa Phillip and her mother during Friday's Labour Day march is continuing to generate debate.
Political leader of the Movement for Social Justice David Abdullah is accusing police of abusing their authority and targeting Phillip's group, while the Police Social and Welfare Association is defending officers and urging the public to allow the courts to determine the matter.
