Seven people including three young children are homeless after a fire gutted their La Romaine home on Sunday morning.
Reports indicate around 9:30 am on Sunday the house along Lucky Street Extension, caught fire.
Speaking to reporters on Monday, 25 year old, Aliyah Small, who lives on the downstairs of the two-storey home with her mom, said they were the only ones at home and she was cooking when she heard loud noises coming from the upstairs.
On walking outside, she observed smoke coming from the upper level which is occupied by her aunt, her 3 young children and her fiancé who were not at home.
