On Tuesday, June 23, Senator Risa Hontiveros said that the Senate Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations, and Gender Equality will hold an initial inquiry about the incident that happened in San Jose National High School on July 1, 2026. The Senate probe will examine the growing threat of online radicalization among children, including claims that online platforms and gaming spaces are being used to groom and manipulate minors into violence.
