Sarah searches for a missing Todd at the corner shop flat. She finds a defeated Theo with Todd's phone atop the scaffolding. Throwing away his husband's handset, Theo muses about why God made him this way only to punish him for it. He contrasts the love he and Todd had for each other with the "abomination" of Sarah, Todd, and their son, who he notes is rightfully dead. As he continues to provoke her, Sarah is pushed to breaking point and whacks Theo with a pole, knocking him off the scaffolding. A panicked Sarah checks on the body and discovers that Theo is dead. Panicking, she calls Gary for help. Gary arrives and, finding out what's happened, sends Sarah away with instructions to get cleaned up and make sure she's seen afterwards. After she leaves, he sends Danielle a text from Theo's phone. Gary stands on the scaffolding at the corner shop flat, sledgehammer in hand, looking down at Theo's lifeless body.
