Dina Taji started rescuing stray cats after moving to the UAE nearly 20 years ago. What began with cycling rescued cats to the vet in a backpack has grown into a shelter in Ajman that now cares for around 600 cats. Taji says she has rescued more than 3,000 stray cats over the years, providing medical treatment, rehabilitation and long-term care.
