Scientists in the U.S. have created early-stage human embryos using skin cell DNA for the first time—a discovery some call the future of reproduction, while others call it unnatural and dangerous. The experiment, known as mitomeiosis, combines cloning and natural reproduction to make eggs from skin cells, which are later fertilised with sperm.
This breakthrough could give hope to infertile couples, older women, cancer survivors, and same-sex partners who want genetically related children. But it also raises massive ethical concerns about designer babies, chromosome errors, and interfering with God’s natural design of life.
In this video, Positive Post TV dives deep into the science, the promise, and the fears surrounding this controversial discovery.
Should science move forward—or is this crossing the line?
