On June 13, 2026, the FDA released a warning regarding an outbreak of Clostridium botulinum, the bacterium responsible for the serious illness botulism, which has been associated with the Nara Organics Whole Milk Powdered Infant Formula. In response, Nara Organics has promptly recalled the affected products. The FDA has begun an investigation to trace the contamination source and assess the number of impacted states. Botulism can pose severe health risks, particularly to infants whose immune systems and gut microbiomes are not yet mature. Caregivers and parents nationwide are strongly advised to inspect their infant formula inventory without delay.
