Prince William arrives at Earthshot Prize's Impact Assembly by London bus
Britain's Prince William arrived at the Earthshot Prize Impact Assembly on a fully electric London bus during London Climate Action Week in London on Tuesday (June 23). He was joined by the ambassador for the Earthshot Prize Robert Irwin, who took part in discussions on stage with the prince. Prince William said he was feeling "more optimistic than ever" with the progress being made with climate change. He added that the challenge businesses face towards making positive environmental climate change may feel 'immense', however "proof is now in front of us..and history will ask what we did with it." The event aims to bring together some of the world’s largest companies to unveil a new wave of commitments to disrupt the illegal wildlife trade and tackle wider environmental crime. The Earthshot Prize is centred around five ‘Earthshots’, simple but ambitious goals for our planet which if achieved by 2030 will improve life for us all, for generations to come.
