झारखंड मुक्ति मोर्चा (JMM) के संस्थापक और झारखंड के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री Shibu Soren को मरणोपरांत Padma Bhushan से सम्मानित किया गया। राष्ट्रपति भवन में आयोजित समारोह में उनकी पत्नी Rupi Soren ने राष्ट्रपति Droupadi Murmu से यह सम्मान ग्रहण किया। व्हीलचेयर पर पहुंचीं Rupi Soren के सम्मान में राष्ट्रपति स्वयं मंच से नीचे उतरीं, जिससे समारोह भावुक क्षणों का साक्षी बना। Shibu Soren के योगदान को झारखंड के इतिहास में महत्वपूर्ण माना जाता है।
Former Jharkhand Chief Minister and JMM founder Shibu Soren was posthumously awarded the Padma Bhushan. At a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, his wife Rupi Soren received the honour from President Droupadi Murmu. The event turned emotional when the President stepped down from the stage to personally present the award to Rupi Soren, who had arrived in a wheelchair. The recognition highlights Shibu Soren's lasting contribution to Jharkhand and tribal rights.
