Some evenings, the sky seems to reorganize itself in real time.
A dense flock of starlings sweeps across the sky, tightening into a dark band before stretching into a wider, shifting shape.
“During late autumn, starlings perform a daily murmuration every evening. Here, over 30,000 birds can be seen settling safely together for the night,” the filmer, Leigh, told WooGlobe.
The birds move in coordinated waves, briefly forming layered patterns as they pass over the landscape.
The flock’s constant reshaping turns a routine roost into a striking display of order and motion.
The scene settles back into stillness as the birds continue on together.
