Former Johor state assembly speaker Puad Zarkashi has resigned from Umno, citing outside interference in Johor Umno's affairs.
Caretaker Mentri Besar Onn Hafiz Ghazi has denied Puad's claim that the Palace directed the dissolution of the state assembly, calling it a constitutional process.
