Venezuela की राजधानी Caracas में आए दो शक्तिशाली भूकंपों ने भारी तबाही मचा दी है। अमेरिकी भूगर्भीय संस्था के अनुसार पहले 7.2 और फिर मात्र 39 सेकंड बाद 7.5 तीव्रता का भूकंप आया, जिससे कई इमारतें क्षतिग्रस्त हो गईं और कुछ ढह भी गईं। भूकंप की गहराई केवल 10 से 13 किलोमीटर होने के कारण झटके बेहद तेज महसूस किए गए। सरकार ने National Emergency घोषित कर दी है और राहत-बचाव कार्य युद्धस्तर पर जारी हैं। एक 22 मंजिला इमारत के गिरने की खबर भी सामने आई है। अधिकारियों ने आफ्टरशॉक्स की चेतावनी देते हुए लोगों से सतर्क रहने की अपील की है।
Two powerful earthquakes struck Caracas, Venezuela, causing widespread destruction and panic. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 7.2-magnitude quake was followed just 39 seconds later by a stronger 7.5-magnitude earthquake. The shallow depth of only 10 to 13 kilometers made the tremors extremely intense at the surface. Several buildings were damaged, while some reportedly collapsed, including a 22-story structure. The government has declared a National Emergency, and rescue operations are underway. Authorities have also warned residents about possible aftershocks and urged people to remain alert as emergency teams continue relief and recovery efforts.
