WATCH: Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jonvic Remulla said in a press briefing on Thursday, June 25, that online games containing violent content should be "permanently banned" from the country, believing that such games "desensitizes" the youth from actions pertaining to "death, violence, and murder."

This, following reports that one of the two suspects involved in the shooting incident at a high school in Tacloban City, Leyte, were allegedly influenced by a popular gaming application named "Gorebox." (Video courtesy of PNP-PIO | FB)
