पश्चिम एशिया में बने तनावपूर्ण हालात के बीच केंद्र सरकार ने एलपीजी सप्लाई को लेकर बड़ा और राहत भरा फैसला लिया है। सरकार ने कमर्शियल और इंडस्ट्रियल सेक्टर के लिए एलपीजी पर लगी सभी प्रमुख पाबंदियों को हटा दिया है। अब होटल, रेस्टोरेंट, फैक्ट्रियां और अन्य उद्योग बिना अतिरिक्त मंजूरी के अपनी जरूरत के अनुसार कमर्शियल गैस सिलेंडर खरीद सकेंगे। साथ ही बल्क एलपीजी सप्लाई को भी आंशिक रूप से बहाल कर दिया गया है। सरकार का कहना है कि घरेलू एलपीजी उत्पादन और आयात की स्थिति अब स्थिर है, इसलिए संकट काल में लागू किए गए प्रतिबंधों को समाप्त किया जा रहा है। सबसे बड़ी राहत की बात यह है कि 14.2 किलो वाले घरेलू गैस सिलेंडर की उपलब्धता और कीमतों पर इस फैसले का कोई नकारात्मक असर नहीं पड़ेगा। यानी आम उपभोक्ताओं की रसोई पहले की तरह सुरक्षित रहेगी। हालांकि, राहत की इस खबर के बीच पासपोर्ट शुल्क में संभावित बढ़ोतरी को लेकर भी बड़ी चर्चा शुरू हो गई है।
Amid ongoing tensions in West Asia, the central government has taken a major and relief-oriented decision regarding LPG supply. The government has removed key restrictions imposed on LPG supplies for the commercial and industrial sectors. Hotels, restaurants, factories, and other industries will now be able to purchase commercial LPG cylinders according to their requirements without seeking special approvals. In addition, bulk LPG supplies have been partially restored.
According to the government, domestic LPG production and import availability have stabilized, making it possible to withdraw the emergency restrictions that were introduced during the crisis period. The biggest relief for households is that this decision will have no adverse impact on the availability or pricing of the 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinder. In other words, the supply of cooking gas for ordinary consumers will remain secure and uninterrupted.
