भारत ने बांग्लादेशी नागरिकों के लिए टूरिस्ट वीजा सेवा दोबारा शुरू करने का फैसला लिया है। 28 जून से बांग्लादेशी नागरिक भारत यात्रा के लिए वीजा आवेदन जमा कर सकेंगे। भारत के नए हाई कमिश्नर दिनेश त्रिवेदी ने ढाका में पदभार संभालने के बाद यह घोषणा की। यह फैसला करीब दो साल बाद आया है, जब सुरक्षा हालात और दोनों देशों के रिश्तों में तनाव के कारण वीजा सेवाएं प्रभावित हुई थीं। अब ढाका सहित पांच केंद्रों से पर्यटक वीजा जारी किए जाएंगे।
India is set to restart tourist visa services for Bangladeshi citizens from June 28. The announcement was made by India’s new High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Dinesh Trivedi, after he officially began his diplomatic duties in Dhaka. The tourist visa facility had remained suspended for nearly two years due to security concerns and strained relations during Bangladesh’s interim government period. Visa applications will now be accepted through five centers including Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chattogram, Sylhet and Khulna.
