Desperate, Venezuelans dig through the rubble of collapsed buildings in an attempt to rescue their loved ones, after two powerful earthquakes left at least 235 dead. The hardest-hit area was La Guaira, a coastal town next to Caracas where the country's most important airport is located, now disabled by the quake. Rescue operations are progressing slowly, and bodies are still visible under the debris 24 hours after the earthquakes.
