Even in a busy neighborhood, nature has a way of interrupting the routine.
The clip shows several people in the street holding nets as they move around parked cars.
The filmer, Roxy, told WooGlobe, “Looked out the window in Sea Point because a car was hooting. Saw some guys with nets, so it seemed like something was stuck under a car. Then an otter suddenly ran out from underneath the vehicle. The guys started chasing it to catch it. They were probably from the SPCA or some kind of animal rescue team, trying to catch it for the animal’s safety.”
The moment plays out like a quick, improvised chase as the animal weaves through the open space.
It’s a small scene of coordination and patience, with the focus staying on keeping the animal contained.
