Jesus Christ -
"No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other." ~ Matthew 6:24
Jesus gives us this powerful and practical truth in Matthew 6:24: “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other.”
You cannot live with a divided heart. Trying to chase both God and the things of this world—especially money, success, or material gain—will pull you in opposite directions. One master will always win your loyalty, and the other will be pushed aside. Jesus calls us to complete devotion to Him alone.
Today, take an honest look at your life: Who (or what) are you really serving? Make the clear choice to put God first. When your heart is fully devoted to Jesus, everything else finds its right place. You’ll walk in freedom, peace, and purpose instead of constant conflict.
