Micro, small, and medium enterprises in Visayas and Mindanao record strong expansion in digital commerce, with average orders per seller rising 51 percent between 2023 and 2025, according to Shopee’s latest report on regional e-commerce growth. The report said provincial sellers were increasingly reaching customers nationwide, with top VisMin businesses in 2025 able to serve buyers in 81 of 82 provinces in the Philippines, while more than a third of orders were delivered to Luzon. Shopee PH Corporate Communications Ley Laksamana said during the firm’s media event in Cebu on June 27, 2026 the trend reflected how digital commerce was helping entrepreneurs overcome geographic barriers and expand their market reach across the country.
