11-year-old boy rescued three days after Venezuela earthquakes
Colombian rescuers save the life of an 11-year-old child who had been trapped beneath the rubble after Thursday's twin powerful earthquakes in Venezuela. After six hours of search efforts, the rescuers managed to reach the child, named Moises, who was three meters underground and pull him out to safety. "The way the structure collapsed created a pocket of space that sheltered him, and he sustained no injuries," said Colombian rescuer and firefighter Nelson Quintin. Ecuadorian rescuers managed to rescue an elderly woman.
