The Northern Territory has the highest rates of lung cancer and smoke related illness in the country. Many sufferers are First Nations people, living far from medical services that can identify cancer before it is too late. Now, for the first time 22 remote communities will be visited by a travelling lung screening bus, fitted with a battery powered CT scanner.
