EBRO's new industrial phase in Barcelona is now fully established. On a 500,000-square-meter site, of which 309,000 m² are currently dedicated to EBRO's industrial operations, the company is implementing a manufacturing process that repurposes some of the assets from the former Nissan facility, incorporates new investments, and establishes two distinct production systems to accelerate the reindustrialization of the Zona Franca (Free Trade Zone).
Currently, EBRO Factory produces the EBRO s400, s700, s800, and s900 models in their various mechanical configurations, including gasoline, hybrid (HEV), and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) versions. The plant continues to expand its industrial capabilities and develop future models that will strengthen its production activity in Barcelona.
The result is a factory capable of producing complete vehicles in Barcelona today through an industrial process that encompasses everything from body manufacturing and assembly to the final validation of each unit before shipment.
EBRO Factory has two body shops, two paint shops, and two assembly lines. It is a facility designed to integrate welding, painting, assembly, quality control, and shipping processes within a single industrial flow. The project is part of an industrial investment exceeding €150 million aimed at modernizing facilities and incorporating new production capabilities.
