The game developer Saber Interactive has released a brand-new gameplay trailer for Turok: Origins and announced that the dinosaur shooter will launch in Fall 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and the Nintendo Switch 2.
The 49-second clip gives a deep look into the action and the updated gameplay, but it is already sparking heavy debates within the gaming community.
Pure Action Gameplay: The infamous "fog soup" from the old Nintendo 64 classics is gone. Powered by Unreal Engine 5, the game offers sharp, modern graphics with a long view distance.
Co-op Mode: The game breaks away from the traditional single-player focus. You can play through the campaign alone or in online co-op with up to three other players.
The Weapon Arsenal: The trailer showcases classic bows, shotguns, and sniper rifles, alongside futuristic plasma guns and alien technology. It remains a mystery whether the iconic Cerebral Bore weapon will return.
DNA Mechanics: Instead of standard loot, you harvest DNA from defeated dinosaurs and alien enemies. You use this DNA to unlock new abilities and customize your fighting style.
The Game World: Your journey takes you through the "Lost Lands." The locations range from dense jungles and ancient temple ruins to alien planets.
