Americans on Supreme Court upholding transgender sports bans
"We're thrilled that the justices decided on the side of truth in a nine to zero unanimous decision," says Maggie McKneely of the conservative group Concerned Women for America, reacting to the US Supreme Court decision upholding state laws banning transgender athletes from girls' and women's sports. While another activist Elli Reynolds calls the ruling "a massive step backwards" for trans children in the US, and calls it "incredibly sad."
