After a week of respite from the heat, high pressure moves in this weekend, dominating many southern and central areas for the next 10 days. Further north weather fronts will bring some rain to the extreme north but otherwise it will remain largely dry for most. Temperatures will climb day on day reaching the low 30s Celsius in southeastern areas by early next week.
