The New South Wales government has promised to establish a one-million-dollar community fund to help residents of Captains Flat south of Canberra remediate their lead-contaminated properties. The announcement has been welcomed by locals who say they feel they've been ignored though there are concerns it will only cover a fraction of the community's costs.
