The Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has arrested eight suspects in connection with an alleged terror module linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed. According to investigators, the group allegedly translated extremist material into Gujarati, used encrypted messaging platforms, and attempted to recruit local youth. Authorities have invoked provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The investigation is ongoing to determine the network's funding, wider links, and intended targets.
