PH trade deals drive strong export growth, says DTI

Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Cristina Roque confirmed on Saturday, July 4, that the country has received 23 free trade agreements -  the most trade agreements received under President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

DTI Secretary Roque reported exports grew 15.4% in 2025, an all‑time high, with sustained growth in 2026. She highlighted the ASEAN FTA and ongoing negotiations for the Canada FTA, which will grant Philippine exports preferential market access. She stated that Philippine products are now ready for the global stage.  (Courtesy of RTVM)
