जम्मू-कश्मीर के किश्तवाड़ जिले में लगातार हो रही भारी बारिश के चलते 540 मेगावाट क्वार हाइड्रो पावर प्रोजेक्ट के पास बड़ा भूस्खलन हुआ। पहाड़ से भारी मात्रा में मलबा गिरने से कई वाहन उसके नीचे दब गए और कई गाड़ियों को गंभीर नुकसान पहुंचा है। प्रशासन और राहत दल मौके पर पहुंचकर मलबा हटाने और फंसे वाहनों को निकालने का काम कर रहे हैं। फिलहाल किसी के हताहत होने की आधिकारिक पुष्टि नहीं हुई है।
Heavy rainfall triggered a massive landslide near the 540 MW Kwar Hydroelectric Power Project in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar district, burying several vehicles under huge mounds of debris. Multiple vehicles suffered extensive damage as rescue and debris clearance operations were launched immediately. Authorities are working to retrieve trapped vehicles and restore connectivity in the affected area. No official confirmation on casualties has been issued so far.
