Vijay की करूर भगदड़ मामले को लेकर Supreme Court of India ने बड़ा फैसला सुनाया। कोर्ट ने Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) की उस याचिका पर रोक लगाने से इनकार कर दिया, जिसमें विजय और उनकी पार्टी के नेताओं के सार्वजनिक बयानों व पीड़ितों से मुलाकात पर रोक लगाने की मांग की गई थी। कोर्ट ने कहा कि विजय इस मामले में आरोपी नहीं हैं और बिना ठोस आधार किसी मुख्यमंत्री की गतिविधियों पर रोक नहीं लगाई जा सकती। इसके बाद DMK ने अपनी याचिका वापस ले ली।
