उत्तर प्रदेश के CM योगी आदित्यनाथ ने कहा, "मैं समाजवादी पार्टी और कांग्रेस के लोगों से पूछना चाहता हूं: अयोध्या में हुई कथित चोरी के बारे में, जिस पर आप हिंदू आस्था का मज़ाक उड़ा रहे हैं, मुझे बताएं, क्या आपने एक बार भी इस बारे में आवाज़ उठाई कि राज्य और देश भर में हज़ारों हेक्टेयर ज़मीन वक्फ के नाम पर बेच दी गई। यह ज़मीन गरीबों और समाज के कमज़ोर तबके की थी। यह वह ज़मीन थी जिसे गरीबों को लीज़ पर दिया जा सकता था; जहां कन्वेंशन सेंटर बनाए जा सकते थे; जहां गरीब व्यापारियों के लिए दुकानें और कमर्शियल जगहें बनाई जा सकती थीं।"
Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath says, "I want to ask the people of the Samajwadi Party and the Congress: regarding the alleged theft in Ayodhya, over which you are making a mockery of Hindu faith, tell me, did you speak up even once about thousands of hectares of land, both within the state and across the country, were sold off in the name of the Waqf. This land belonged to the poor and the weaker sections of society. This was land that could have been allotted to the poor via leases; where convention centers could have been built; where shops and commercial establishments could have been created for poor traders.
