The fragile U.S.-Iran ceasefire appears to be hanging by a thread after Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf declared that "the ceasefire is over" and warned Washington that any future strike on Iran would be met with immediate retaliation.
Ghalibaf accused the United States of violating the June peace agreement by reimposing sanctions, launching CENTCOM strikes across Iran, and backing Israeli military operations. His warning came after commercial tankers were attacked near the Strait of Hormuz, triggering renewed tensions between Tehran and Washington.
