Residents across Japan's southern island of Ishigaki spent Thursday (July 9) securing their homes and businesses as super typhoon Bavi approaches.
According to Japan's Meteorological Agency,the super typhoon is expected to make landfall over Ishigaki early Saturday (Jul 11).
