ईरान के पूर्व सुप्रीम लीडर अयातुल्ला अली खामेनेई के अंतिम संस्कार को लेकर बड़ा घटनाक्रम सामने आया है। चार महीने बाद उनका पार्थिव शरीर इराक के नजफ और कर्बला से विशेष विमान के जरिए मशहद पहुंचा, जहां आज उन्हें सुपुर्द-ए-खाक किया जाएगा। भारी भीड़ और धार्मिक रस्मों के चलते अंतिम संस्कार में लगभग 8 घंटे की देरी हुई। ईरानी अधिकारियों ने स्पष्ट किया कि देरी का कारण सुरक्षा खतरा नहीं, बल्कि लाखों श्रद्धालुओं की मौजूदगी थी। 28 फरवरी 2026 के कथित हमले के बाद से टाले गए इस अंतिम संस्कार के बीच ईरान ने पहली बार खामेनेई के क्षतिग्रस्त आवास का वीडियो भी जारी किया है। अंतिम यात्रा तेहरान, कोम, नजफ और कर्बला से होते हुए मशहद पहुंची, जहां उन्हें इमाम रजा के रौजे के निकट दफनाया जाएगा। इस घटनाक्रम पर पूरी दुनिया की नजरें टिकी हैं, क्योंकि इसके बाद मिडिल ईस्ट की राजनीति किस दिशा में जाएगी, यह बड़ा सवाल बना हुआ है।
A major development has emerged regarding the funeral of Iran's former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Four months after his death, his remains were flown by a special aircraft from the Iraqi holy cities of Najaf and Karbala to Mashhad, where he is set to be laid to rest today.
The burial has been delayed by nearly eight hours due to massive crowds and religious ceremonies. Iranian authorities have stated that the delay was caused by the presence of millions of mourners, not by any security threat.
The funeral had reportedly been postponed since the alleged February 28, 2026 attack. Meanwhile, Iran has also released, for the first time, footage showing damage to Khamenei's residence.
